We currently have an opportunity for an OCS Engineer in Riverdale, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Manage project wide Overhead Catenary System (OCS) subcontractors to facilitate timely delivery, installation, and testing of OCS system work at all alignment
  • Manage installation and testing of all OCS system work
  • Coordinate OCS work with other technical disciplines including – civil, train control, traction power, trackwork, utilities, LRV’s, integration and system safety
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to expedite testing, commissioning, and closeout of all OCS systems related work
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

  • BSEE degree Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with design, installation & testing of electrical systems
  • Experience with the installation of OCS systems for Rail Transit Systems
  • Ability to read and understand contracts and manage subcontracts requests
  • Organizational ability – able to prioritize, organize and monitor activities and suppliers
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to establish good rapport with site staff at all levels
  • Able to work well both by him/herself and in a small team

USD $90,000.00/Yr.
