Responsibilities

  • The Systems Integration & Safety Assurance Manager reports to the DB Project Systems Manager, it is primarily responsible for the integration of the different sub-systems involved in the scope of the project and the coordination of the safety assurance policy.
  • She has to distinct roles: the integration of the different systems and the assurance of the safety of all systems.
  • The systems integration role will include:
    • Managing the systems integration process and the systems integration organization.
    • Identification of a consistent team for the management of interface management and integration testing
    • To coordinate the work of the Systems Engineering & Integration Consultant organization, the subcontractor SENER, to ensure a proper integration and commissioning of all systems of the project.
  • The safety assurance role will include:
    • Working closely with the System Safety and Security Officer, the subcontractor TSSS, to ensure compliance with the system safety and security requirements.
  • Overall, she will ensure that the due process is followed across all project technical disciplines in order to implement proper:
    • Requirements Management
    • Verification and Validation processes
    • Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM)
    • Configuration Management
    • Testing and final commissioning
    • Handover Support & System Performance Demonstration
  • She will supervise and coordinate as needed the activities of these two key subcontracts, i.e. Sener and TSSS, will be the primary point of contact for their activities and will control their performance both in technical and budget terms.
